Description

This project uses painted wood as a hanging base, and UV resin shapes (stars, moons, butterflies, flowers, rainbows, hearts, cowboy hats, boots, etc.) with pony beads to create a colorful, light-filled, hanging waterfall of sun-catching light. All materials provided. No experience needed — just creativity!

Each artist will:

• Paint to personalize a wooden base
• Create clear resin shape ornaments for hanging
• Add decorative beads and pre-made charms
• Create a one-of-a-kind hanging masterpiece
• Take home a finished sun-catcher ready to sparkle in the sun

Each guest receives:

• UV resin molds, dyes, mica, molds (shapes)
• Curing and safety equipment (goggles, aprons, nitrile gloves, etc.)
• Selection of available beads to choose from (acrylic, glass, wooden, etc.)
• Painting and drying equipment,

Age Adaptations

• Ages 5–7: Larger shapes and thicker cord will be used. Pre-threaded beads may also be made available.
• Ages 8–12:  Layering of UV resin pieces may be introduced, along with color blending experiments.
